Guest Nigel
I have a concept 6 system from //.National Installer.// which has a seperate keypad wired - this shows no lights. I believe the battery may be the problem - few years old. I have ordered a new battery, but thought a new bell box would be useful as the old one no longer works. I have purchased an odyssey 1e and battery. The alarm panel is still connected to the mains with powerlight on, but not keypad working. Do I just switch off mains, install new alarm box - which only has 5 wires and not 6 as shown on control panel (do I disregard the strobe + connection on the control panel). Then put new battery on , close control panel and switch on mains? Any advice would be ap preciated.
FASTCAR
Hi , I would make sure everything works first. Remove the mains , check inside the panel , remove the battery if there is one, check all connections , previous owner may have snipped a few. Fire it up mains first , if you have a code , use it , if not try 0123 , if that doesnt work , turn the power off. Regards.
