Just a quick one. Have any of you had any practical experience of products from Cieffe or Integral Technologies?

I'm particulaly interested in the Spectiva RT (Cieffe) and the DS RealVue Xpress (IT).

I've been asked questions about this equipment post IFSEC and must confess to knowing very little about them.

I have had experience with the Integral stuff but not Cieffe. I had a look at IFSEC and concluded that like all enterprise systems "a lot of technology for technologies sake". Most of these systems are very heavy to keep up and running at maximum efficiency, the software is constantly being developed and needs updating. The most glaring deficiency of most of these enterprise systems is that they don't provide a database for video incidents and they are too expensive for what they are, a glorified video recorder/IP video transmission device.

I know what you mean with regard to the video database. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to conect to network drives for incident recording. There must be a reason why this is seldome implimented.

Does anyone else have opinions on Enterprise solutions in general?
