Texecom Premier 88 And Keystone Rx600

Featured Replies

I've got a Texecom 88 & a keystone rx600 to conect some wireless sensors.

I'm having some difficulty connecting the two.

I found this post:

http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...881&hl=keystone

but I'm still stuck - in that post, the user ended up using relays - I'm hooking up to the zones on an RKP, so I don't have a lot of room for relays, plus I ought to be able to do it without!.

I think one of the things I'm having difficulty with is DP & EOL - do you have to change anytihng on the panel depending on which you use? I can't find any zone settings on the premier to do with this.

The keystone is hooked up to the 12v supply to the RKP.

The keystone can put out -ve or +ve outputs.

With the tamper linked out on the zone, and applying the input to the r/h terminal for the zone as directed in the prevoius post, looking at the zone status, I get:

-ve o/p, zone secure: Tamper O/C

-ve o/p, zone active: Secure 2k2

+ve o/p, zone secure: Active 8k0

+ve o/p, zone active: Tamper O/C

I realise that I'm still not totally up to speed on this!

Help!!?? any ideas?

cheers,

J
