How long do I need to disconnect the power and battey for the system to revert to default settings are does this not matter.

Reason Im asking is I have tried [defaulting the system], but it does not work, maybe as the alarm is going of.

Who knows, it could be anything from a few seconds to never, they're not the most reliable panels going.

We can't give out defaulting info or engineering manuals.

Yes I thought as much, but the reset procedure does not work in the engineers manual.

Then you may have the wrong manual for the sofware edition that you have, or you are doing it wrongly.
