Guest BillyBean Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 I have replaced an old A1 panel with a Sterling10 one, and because of comments here about the Sterling Belle quality I have bought a Reson8 Bell. (But then some people say the same about the Sterling10 panel ) The connection names do not match for these two devices, can anyone tell me how the connection should be made please. The Sterling10 has connections: Bell + Bell - BT Bell NO Bell C Bell NC Strobe NO Strobe C Strobe NC The Reson8: RTN - Hold Off + Hold Off - Trig - STB - Looks like I might have make some links at the Sterling end too because it looks to me like the bell & strobe signals are just a switch that is normally open or normally closed. (Sterling 10 lockup, never I hear you say). Apart from taking the mains & battery power off, is there another method to reboot it? Once it locks up its locked up, power down or get the biggest hammer you,ve got(after you have disconnected the mains) Keep an eye on it, if its regular take it back and try and swap it for something else.
