  1. Hello All. I was wondering if someone can advise or guide me. On my previous powermax system, whenever I armed away or disarmed, there was a voice alert to give me the system system status. Also when I armed away there were countdown beeps. Is there a way I can do that with my powermaster pm33 panel? I cant seem to find the option anywhere. You help will be much appreciated.
  2. Thanks for the replies and feedback. My previous system was a visonic wireless system and after reading the posts on here I have realised the PIRs were not in the best places as it was fitted by someone else. Thanks for the position suggestions I will go A4 and position upstairs landing too. I thought above patio door wouldnt be a good option due to the the heat increase from the sun. Kind regards
  3. Hello All. Firstly thank you very much for helping on this forum. i have learnt alot. I am currently installing a new visonic alarm system with VISONIC 0-1274-0 PIRs. I was wondering if someone can point to me where i should be positioning my PIRs. For the living room i was considering position D as its not pointing directly at the window and away from the radiator. For the open plan kitchen, i am a bit stuck for the best place due to windows, the patio door and the radiators. please can someone suggest if placing at 1 is the best location or should 3. 3 is within the 12m range of the PIR but i am not sure how accurate it would be given the proximity to the window. I can put a PIR in both 1 and 3 if people think its worth doing. I will put window sensors on the windows and the patio door. I realise the advise on here is from the goodness of peoples heart so i will not be holding any of you responsible should anything untoward was to happen to my house. Thank you very much in advance. floorplan ground floor.pdf
  4. Thank you very much for explaining this. It is much appreciated
  5. Thank you very much for your help and assistance and assistance on this. Thanks for the suggestion of wiring siren to expander module. Reading other posts, I was under the impression, even powering a siren in scb mode to the expander still needs battery power? Hello. Are you talking about about mcs730 AC? I have this powered to the mains. It without a backup battery the panel shows siren as low battery. I have noticed this happens to my new visonic pm33 panel. Mains connection without connecting the back up battery raises low battery alarm.
  6. Hello. Please can someone suggest a wired mains powered bell box that I can use on my powermaster pm33. I have an expander module. I used to have a mc30 AC bell box linked to my powermax system which was ok but still requires back up battery and is wireless. I have decided it's time to upgrade to a powermaster pm33 hence my question. Thanks in advance
