    Thanks, removing it is a good option if necessary as it's in the conservatory and we have external doors from the lounge into it. We have another guy coming tomorrow who is going to fit security lighting at the new house so hopefully he can fix it.

    We have had a Karizma plus alarm for about 16 years & never had any issues. Had the conservatory replaced with a room before Xmas and the PIR has just showed tamper fault and won't reset. Engineer came today hasn't seen this alarm system before so although we have the engineer code he couldn't find how to clear it after he had fixed a loose wire in the PIR. Can anyone guide us through it? Or recommend cheapest way to fix, new control panel etc. Moving on Friday!
