    Thank you James Both of them are 5.6k ( I did test them with a meter) By proving the panel do you mean stick a resistor straight on the panel without the cable?

    I have DSC Power 832 with trouble light on a door contact sensor (DEOL). I did replace the contact and tested wires back to the panel and swapped them for spare pair. No joy. Setting the zone to Null removes the trouble light. I would be grateful for any suggestions
