Hello. I have bought a new Honeywell ADE Gen4 alarm (Accenta/Optima) for my garage. I have installed and wired the alarm as per the instructions. ( I have the compact panel with built in keypad not the LCD remote version. I have only wired in 1 PIR into a 1 Zone. However, when set the alarm with the code all 8 Zone lights come on and it just beeps forever and never sets. I have done the alarm test and that passes. When I do the walk test the manual says. Enter Programing mode Press(0) Press (tick) Zones 1-8 are Off (but in my case all Zones LEDs are on not off). Zone 1 does stay off briefly until the PIR is triggered. I’m pretty sure all Zone lights should be off. However, having never fitted an alarm before I’m scratching my head. I’m clearly doing something wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
