  1. Thanks Mr. Happy.

Probably the answer I needed. Are you recommending a battery replacement?

And what is a 1313? Must confess I have never heard of that.

    Thanks Phil

  2. Thanks. I know all that having worked in the industry for many years but I have never come across the message quoted in my first post.

That is what I need an answer to, not if 10 years is good value for money.

It probably is but I don't want to tell my neighbour he needs a new system if an  EEProm reset is all that is required or a replacement EEProm.

I need to know if the last two points are realistic or possible.

    Thanks Phil

  3. Hi James. It has been working fine in a neighbours' house for many years. It is a split system and the man is very satisfied with it.

Just want to know if the message highlighted is likely to be the beginning of a problem or something that happens every now and then.

Is it likely to be serious?

    Thanks Phil

  4. Quote

I have an Aritech CD72. Came up with the message EEProm 128. I believe this means there was a problem with the system writing info to the EEProm.

Is this likely to become an issue? Can I reset the EEProm?

If yes, what info will I lose from the system or does the EEProm just store the log info.

    Thanks Newbie Phil
