update found the display.. it says slave busy channel A p08 ..... the motherboard has yellow led midbottom left and top middle lit and the inside door display pcb had a yellow led lit too. when reset they all cleared so...... any ideas????

hi guys, just need to rack the grey cells a bit but have an adt mx 2 panel networked system setup which now has a fault on screen. i cant remember exactly the words but it refers to an interface in my guess along the lines of awaiting reply channel a ... loop fault. code p008. i traced it down to main panel 1 but had to downpower and repower panel to clear as all the rim/cim modules were not pulsing. This cleared the fault and the panel sat clear for at least 2 hrs before the customer called back saying it had returned. grr. Anyone got any ideas on this fault as batts are new and the loops are polling when clear of faults. i suspected there was a rim fault locking up the polling causing a software system crash. thanks in advance.
