  1. Ok Great thanks I think I'm going to swap this out with a Gardtec/ Risco Group 595 panel or sonething that I am familiar with !

    i seen people talking about the Karizma Plus panels the door contacts and Shock sensors possibly having biscuit ID how do I check if this is the case ?

    I will I'll try the keypad that you say

    there is about 30 shock sensors, 10 door contacts and a few PIRs and 4 RKPs and 1 bellbox

  2. Hello I have reset a panel which has been down for around 1 month after the panel went off in the middle of the night and the fuses and battery was removed

    I have tried to default the panel to factory settings and after doing so the screen has come up strange on keypad 1 there is 4 keypads on this panel before defaulting we were not able to do anything at the keypads some said System Init and the others said System Busy and would not clear even with a manager code

    Any ideas what to do from here I'm thinking possibly the panel is knackered and I should change this just before I do I would like to get some simple advise do you think there has possibly been a power surge which has damaged the panel ?

  3. I tried this and it didn't seem to work the IR's on the dome did not light up i have covered up the photocell on the dome however it didn't light up

    Any ideas?

    I thought possibly the RED & BLACK if they are AC24V pay both be positive and the other earth may be the earth/ negative on the twin core?

  4. See image here i have the following on the power supply:

    red= AC24V

    black= AC24V

    yellow&green= earth

    On my power supply it is PTZ 3.0 Amp 24V Supply

    I have a black 2 core cable from the transformer so do i just connect these to the red and black or has the red and black to go together and then the earth on the other core of the transformer? it isnt very clear so i just want to be sure?

    I look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Thanks Jack

    First down power the panel and switch back on to see if the blue LCD keypad goes through its startup.

    If you are getting the same you get the 6 wire keypads but they are not blue LCD.

    Ok il try this although Risco told me it won't be compatible

  7. See attached i have an old KEYPAD on a Gardtec 595 Panel the screen has went, i have tried to swap it out with this new 4 Wire Blue LCD Keypad however it does not work does anyone know a way of getting it to work with resistors or do i need to send this back to Risco Group and get a 6 Wire Version?

    If i need to send back and get a 6 Wire Version does anyone know if it is available in Blue LCD?

    Thanks Jack Buchan
