  1. I did think 1 per zone. But having only 8 inputs will have more sensors than that with 2 PIRs and about 10 or 11 door/window contacts . Has anyone fitted the pyronix euro 46 ? As looks like I can have 1 if not 2 inputs of the LCD panel Thanks Mark
  2. Hi a question, with the euro 46 control panel having 8 inputs/zones that's 8 sensors. Right ? So when i add the LCD panel to the control panel I can add another input direct to the lcd panel. So have 9 inputs/zone total is that right ? One other question Magnetic contacts would you run more than 1 on each input/zone ie a window with 2 openings. And have the contacts in series. ? Thanks very much Mark
  3. Thanks very much indeed for your help I got my list now to order. Will see how I get one fitting it all thanks very much Msrk
  4. Thanks for all the help guys Any one recomed a shock sensor for windows / patio and contact ? Mark
  5. The window is same side as patio doors and plastic . Not sure what to do now as sound like the Bosch PIRs are good then others say perimeter is better lol. Mark Mark
  6. So perimeter in a living room with patio doors and a big window. What would you run for that ? Mark
  7. Great thanks for replying. I don't know much about perimeter protection what's the crack. What's the best stuff to get Many thanks Mark
  8. So in theory any dual text will work with a cat. ?
  9. Ok great must be good as expensive compared to the Bosch ones Mark
  10. Ha ok this is why I find it so hard to decide what to get. So many different people recommend different things. What would you say Al Yeti Mark
  11. Great thanks for replying. So I really need PIRs then that's fine was just finding out alternatives. Understand with the shock sensors and bird/cat strikes. So the Bosch ones I assume it's these ones blueline gen 2 tritech as can't find any due tech . https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/movement-detectors-c-36_116/all-c-36_116_37/bosch-blue-line-gen-2-bld2-pet-tritech-blueline-detector-p-2392.html Don't think I need to go as far as perimeter . Thanks again Mark
  12. So I'm installing my alarm at home it's a bungalow and fitting a pyronix euro 46 app hard wired. So question is can I run the whole system with just window sensors and door contacts rather than PIRs . I have a very active cat and I'm not sure even pet PIRs are any good ?. What's people's thoughts or recommendations ? Many thanks Mark
  13. Thanks Simlec So your saying get a say an EE card that can send SMS message as well as push with the app ? Thanks Mark
  14. Ok great. So you by the app version panel but you still need to by the goes module so why doesn't the panel come with the module and what's the difference with the app panel compared to the standard euro 46 panel as i thought you would of got the module with the app version and that was the difference but it isn't. Thanks Mark
  15. I will email pyronix and ask. Also can't find anywhere that sell.the gprs module and the SIM . As i have herd pyronix do a sim.
  16. Ar ok so the app to work dont need WiFi or LAN can run off the GPRS as well ? You get full use of app with GPRS ?
  17. I feel that the SMS is more reliable than the app for notifications. You can get plenty of cheap SIM cards now days .
  18. So the app version is that good. Better of have the normal euro 46 and a text message . ? I'm really undecided on what one to get.
  19. So the LAN module will only send push notifications to the app it won't send text message to the phone .? Push notifications are that reliable so may stick to GPRS. But can't find anywhere that sells the module, lots selling the panel but not the module Mark
  20. Ar ok so a lan module is just full internet the gprs is done via a SIM card . Suppose gprs is good if internet or power has gone down . Ok great stuff thanks swaying towards the app panel rather than standard 46sm Mark
  21. Great thanks that's really helpful. I other thing i take it the app can tell you if alarm has gone off ? So it has a gprs module rather than a lan or WiFi . Thought it would work of that for the app over internet ?. Thanks again Mark Mark
  22. Just other forums really. I did want that one but just put of buy the reviews really. Does the app work well ? Don't you have to pay a subscription For it. Also can you use the digi SMS add on ? Why do you think it's better just like to here your views Many thanks Mark
  23. So do you think the app version is a good option . Not herd great reviews of it. Can you still have the modem to send SMS in the until ? Thanks Mark
