  1. Great, thanks - will have a look at the fuse and report back. The battery (both the ones I've bought) are Yuasa. Er, are they any good? If not I will stop buying them
  2. Thanks very much! I haven't reset the system, but I'll give it a go. That's a reset from the Engineer menu, is that right?
  3. Hi everyone, hope all's good with you! I wonder if anybody would be able to shed some light here. I've got a Eurosec CP8L LCD house alarm, pre-installed (presumably by the builders) in the house I bought from somebody else 2 years ago. I do know the Engineer code and the User code. when we moved in, there was a "!!!! CHECK !!!! Low Batt." reading on the alarm, so fair enough, I bought a new battery, unscrewed the box in the garage, got the tamper alert, replaced the battery and all was well. Fast forward to now, and there is another "!!! CHECK !!! Low Batt." reading. Firstly, is that expected? It's only been 2 years since I replaced it. Secondly, I did the exact same procedure as above (well, so far as I remember) and the system still says "!!! CHECK !!! Low Batt." even though it has a new battery. What did I do wrong? Is it the Fuse? Or do I need to do a reset/power off? Thank you for any and all help , Chris
