  1. good idea, ill try a resistor on the line
  2. Im only running with 2 detectors on a small run of cable, i will swap the detectors over with some spares I have From what I can gather the Gent nano panel is very cut down from the stuff you guys probably deal with and as such quite straight forward menus, but i will look again and see if I can see anything thats responsible for this clicking I might also try the loop with no detectors at all in the bases and see if it still clicks
  3. I dont see anything relating to relays, but i will have another look when I get a moment
  4. Not sure I understand the question
  5. RL2 by the looks of it which looks to be linked closely to the loop circuit
  6. Its just the panel by itself on my bench, single loop with 2 s-quad detectors attached nothing else I've commissioned the loop and and its correctly identifying the devices, the only thing I have tried is a smoke test
  7. its a single on/off fast click once every minute im on V2.56 of the main controller and v1.04 loop firmware
  8. You guys are awesome, must give you a warm glow being so helpful
  9. Well I'm sure I will, I guessed the engineer & Maintenance code and as I say its working so its no great shakes I was just curious as to the clicking
  10. If you haven't got anything constructive to add to the discussion regarding the initial post then please don't bother, I can assure you I'm well aware of certain fire alarm engineers that frequent forums who have a theory that what they do is something akin to brain surgery. The simple matter is, you have no idea whats the issue is but feel the need to post verbal poo
  11. its my own system, its sat on my bench at the moment Are you feeling OK?
  12. I haven't tested a fire condition loop is detected ok and I can sound the alarms in the s-quad detectors
  13. I'm hearing a relay click every minute precisely on a Gent Nano fire panel No faults are logged and seems happy, but I cant think that its normal Any ideas folks?
