Filter where? All the ANPR cams I seen have a reflective lens for some reason

Is it all down the lens? A standard IR camera would blur the plate back so how does a ANPR do this? Obs the software reads the plate but the camera i'm interested in.

Ok learn something new everyday, im surprised but as rule of thumb i'd install spur because it's professional? So having a panel off a switched spur is also OK? Madness
