Guest Richf
Help!! I've just moved house and inheritted a large shed fitted with a burglar alarm. The alarm model is a Ademco Accord 8. The problem I am experiencing is that the damn thing won't set itself. At present it is showing a day, power and tamper led, from this I assuming something is wrong with the alarm, hence the red tamper led. THe previous owners have left me the entry code and the engineer's code which leaves me to believe that they installed it themselves. When I enter the code (not engineers) to set it it sounds like it setting but doesn't. What is the easiest way to reset the tamper led?, as this will then probably enable me to then set the alarm. morph
Look for a cause of the problem, tamper on a circuit, battery fault loss of mains etc? Repair the fault and the system will clear, user manual attached to this post Accord8_User.pdf
Guest richf
Thnaks for that, a fun weekend of tamper detection ahead. As a point of interest what would you charge for coming out to fix it?
