coyoteboy
Dear all, Sorry to butt in and ask for help on a first post but I have no expertise in this field so I have no chance of adding to the collective knowledge first! I was recently given, by a friend who bought a house with it installed, an LJD Deltawave DVR. 4 Channel IIRC, with CD writing abilities. It fires up and shows me recordings of the floor outside his house. Excellent, I thought. Unfortunately I then run into the problem of it being password protected so I cant change any of the setup. I opened it up and searched inside for battery backups or reset jumpers but didnt find any. I connected it to my network and tried accessing via telnet/ssh/web interfaces but luck there either. Can anyone help me reset the password back to defaults (which i believe were 1 for admin and 2 for user) so I can buy some cameras and use this at my parents house - they're having some bother with local youths and the police asked for CCTV. Thanks, J
coyoteboy
Figured it out, was using factory passwords but I was putting them in with leading zeros instead of just typing "1" and hitting enter.
