I have installed the aritech cs350 panel and an Aritech AS270 internal siren. While in engineer mode the bell is sounding. I have connected the tamper circuit to terminals 16 and 17 with a 4K7 resitor in series with one of the cables. I have connected 12+ to terminal 6 and -0v speaker to terminal 7. Is there some setting in engineer mode that has to be set before I activate this alarm?

Im good with Aritech, but dont know that panel. What is terminal 7 marked up as (output?). Which bell is sounding int/ext.

Top tip: if you ever catch fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because i bet thats what REALLY throws you into a panic and dont forget the one thing you cant recycle is wasted time.

Just sorted it out, the output had to be set as a negative output which was opposite to the manual, of course. Anyway terminal seven according to the manual is the internal bell and by forcing the output on, it was output number five. Thanks for the interest, cheers.
