February 6, 200620 yr comment_85872 I have a recently installed Galaxy G2 alarm - according to the user manual, it can work with Ademco 5804 RF Fobs. I have bought two of these, but when I try to pair them, the alarm doesnt see them. Does the alarm need something added or is it likely that the RF fobs are faulty? Thanks in advance... February 6, 200620 yr comment_85873 Verify the zone programming Each button of the keyfob must be programmed as a separate zone number. The zones must be input type 5 (Button RF) The zone types will typically be programmed as: 20(stay) 21(away) 22(disarm) 6/7/8/9(panic functions) Verify that the zones are assigned to the correct partition. Verify that the RF receiver is enabled and working. The Vista-15P and 20P series controls enable the receiver automatically when a wireless zone is enabled. To troubleshoot the receiver, enable supervision of it to see if a trouble condition occurs; or see if other wireless devices work. Link the key-fob to a USER CODE: 15P and 20P After the keyfob zones have been programmed into the system, you must assign it to a user code in order for it to perform arm/disarm functions. If this has not been done, a panic function or relay activation will still work. You must program the user code before you can assign a code to it. Assign a remote to a user code by keying: Master Code + 8 + [user position] + # + 4 + [the 2-digit zone number] You will get a single beep to verify the entry was accepted. The user position will be a 2-digit entry of 02, 04, 05, etc Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/9237-glaxy-g2-20-and-rf-fobs/#findComment-85873 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
