I've got a Optima XM6 which has locked up just like so many others when I had the power off and now I cannot get the damn thing to respond.

OK, now I've read the other posts and indeed my battery has not been changed for at least 6 years that I know of. So I need a new battery. Also my bell box didn't go off when the power was off or when I disconnected the battery so thats probably flat as a pancake as well.

Questions:-

1) Is the bell box battery the same as the battery in the control panel ?

2) How much roughly are these things and is their a particular make thats better than the others. Also where do u guys get them from.

3) In what order do I install the new batteries or doesn't it matter ?
