Guest Whitehead
I have just installed a new external bell/strobe unit. When I got to set the control panel(aritech CS350) I keep getting a open zone Bell tamper indication. The engineer link on the bell unit is dicsconnected. It has two siren units - if I disabled one would this sort the problem out? Nova-Security
On Aritech systems you need to wire the bell correctly and also not forget the EOL resistor for the tamper, If you have not worked on these panels before the best thing would be to get a local installer in who knows the panel. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name. Dean It is an Elmdene, Hexidin. With two siren units in it. Yellow strobe wire to ST-, Red supply to H+, Black supply to H-, Blue trigger to R-, Green tamper to TR and a loop from TS to H-. Guest Whitehead
Wheres the EOL resistor connected to ? There is no EOL resistor on the panel terminal block where the bell tamper loop wires come in. However there is a resistor on the bell unit block between TR and H- I think. Hope this make sense.
