Visonic Powermax

Featured Replies

I am currently installing a Visonic Powermax Wirefree system. (Dont ask, I just am). The system comes with a PCB which is required, along with a 12v psu if you are using a standard external SAB/SAS. I have made what few connections there are to make but when I plug the terminal strip onto the panel, nothing happens other than the power LED glowing (Not lit, just glowing).

The panel usually uses 9v rechargable batteries but these arent used if you use this AT202 PCB.

Can someone please help as I have changed both the Panel and the PCB but with no luck.

Thanks

^_^

Hi Peter

I do have 13.61v which I thought would be normal. The first panel was working ok then stopped working on battery or 'mains'. The replacement doesnt seem to be working on either although it could be the batteries! I have a feeling I have connected too many of the terminals on the AT202 but the installation instructions arent that clear.

Thanks for your continued help.

Andy

Thanks Peter.

Just to let you know the numbers for Visonic have changed. Sales 08707300800

or Tech 08707300830.

I will let you know how I get on.

Andy

A Number of things

The instructions say that the 'SAB/SCB ..... is connected ....' when in fact it has to be in SCB mode.

The bell tamper still wont clear even after changing resistors.

As I had a tamper fault I left the cct disconnec\ted for a while but I didnt realise the panel takes a reference from the tamper cct.

Anyway, all working now.

Thants again
