Hi everyone.I have an Accenta G6 alarm system installed and I have 2 keypads,one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor of my home.Last night I went to set the alarm via the keypad on the upper floor and i managed to set it but it gave me this error. '' * COMMS JAMMED * ''. I have Lcd Accenta keypads. There is nothing to help me in the manual and the tel number for technical enqueries which is on the manual does not exist (0151 5491550).The keypad now is totally functionless but the keypad on the ground floor is fine and can set and unset the alarm ok.So the fault is just with the upperfloor keypad. Can someone please tell me wot this error is and how i can repair it or give me the tel no' of ACCENTA ALARMS so i can sort this problem out. Thanks in advance...

Could be a break in the cable between the upstairs panel and the contol unit.

Probably best to get an alarm engineer to repair the system.

Well i managed to fix the problem.I just turned the mains power supply off and also disconnected the battery.Once i powered it all back up , it was..sorry is now ok.System must have crashed or sorted or something.If this had failed i would have to call someone out.Thanks for taking the time to answering me Dale.
