Gardtec 370 part set programming

Featured Replies

I have a 370 panel and I have setup everything except the part set zones.

I read daves explanation.....

The part setting is programmed when you set up each zones attributes.

EG: Setting the front door as 0114, would mean you have set up zone 01 as an E/E zone with the chime enabled. Set up the zones you require to be part 1 omitted with the last zone attribute as 1, EG:If i were to program zone 3 with 0311, this would make zone 3 an Entry/Exit zone that is removed when the system is part 1 set.

I understand this bit but the 370 has 3 part set modes, the engineer install guide only lists settings for Full, part 1, part 2 and Part 1 and 2. So what does part set 3 do? and how do you program it?

I have the little 1 page fold up engineer guide for the alarm, its getting a tatty and falling to bits, does anyone have a .pdf of it the can email me?

cheers

Paul

part 3 is part 1 + part 2, so any zones omitted in part 1 or 2 will be omitted in part 3.

are you in the trade mate?

Ahh that explains it I think, will try it out tonight. I don't actually need 3 different part sets but I don't like it when I don't understand something fully before I have a go.

Im not in the trade although I have fit a few alarms for friends and family over the years. Im in computer networking and support and can understand just about anything with lights and buttons so programming the alarm is easy. Been reading all the posts on how end users shouldn't have the engineers manuals... being in computer support I can relate to the argument for users not to have them! I already have a manual for the alarm but just wanted it on PDF because mine is falling to bits.
