Guest DIYking
I am new to this game and adding a rear bell box to an existing alarm system, do I need to connect the tamper return to the front box or can it go straight to the control panel ??? Guest DIYking
The alarm sounder is a Texecom, and the instructions say connect the second bell to the first so they are in series. If I connect the second bell straght to the -Ve Tamper return on the control pannel, (both bells will be in parallel) and the rear tamper is activated will this bell sound only ?? and vise versa.. also I have a 12volt internal sounder on the system, this is connected to the +Ve, -Ve and the -Ve sounder trigger for the external sounder. If the tamper was activated say on the rear box would this internal sounder activate.
