Hi to all.

Found this site whilst researching replacing the brace of old alarms I've inherited in my new house - I've posted a 'War & Peace' question on the General Security thread!

I work in the IT security field and have no real knowledge of alarm systems at all -maybe a bit on physical security aspects, but not a great deal! Having spent a couple of days wading through all of the posts, I think I'm learning fast!

The site is an absolute goldmine of useful info.
