i used to have firebox installed as internet browser so when i recieved an email with a link, for example from this site it opened straight up, just done a complete re format of machine and just staying with internet explorer, but the problem i am now having is i cant open links from my email i have to copy then paste into internet explorer address bar, i am sure there is a simple way of correcting this but cant seem t find it... i use incredimail if it helps

That'll be a setting in the mail client somewhere. I'm afraid I can't help you much further than that but have a look in the options\properties menu for something along the lines of 'don't open links from within mail'.
