October 4, 200421 yr comment_25926 Every now and then the outside strobe of my XL4 goes off and I can stop it by entering the security code and reset, bit it returns to tamper mode. I had a look at the box yesterday to perform a reset. The Yuasa on board battery is pulling 15 volts but is about 7-10 years old. I powered down the board and performed the connection from SET terminal to tamper and powered up reconnecting the loop between the two tamper terminals and all lights came on as described in manual and the attack LED went off as it should have but when I closed the cover, the system goes straight back into tamper and the key board is dead. Any help would be appreciated. October 4, 200421 yr comment_25927 A. Change the battery as it should of been replaced about 5 years ago. B The keypad will sort it self out when the tamper is clear.
