Siemens Bewacom Si-Bm3

Featured Replies

Hello everybody.

I am new to this forum, I sometimes get asked to install security systems, CCTV and door access control for my customers and this forum looked like a good place to ask a question and possibly get the answers as I am well and truly stuck.

here goes.

I have a customer who requires me to replace there existing CDV door entry phone system that is failing due to validation, with a new Siemens Bewator Si-BM3 door entry system next week, this is not the problem as I have fit loads of BM3's with no problems.

However the problem I do have is that they have a Digiprox DGLPWLC proximity reader (square thing about 4" x 3") installed above  the door entry phone and I don't know this system at all as I only fit Siemens/Bewator equipment,

My Customer has informed me that they don't want the added expense of changing this and the cards.

Can anybody give a some help/ instructions, if the reader is even compatible with the Si BM3, on how to connect the reader to the Si-BM3 or the other way round so they can release some mag-locks Please?

Any help will be much appreciated as I don't want to loose any money on it.

cheers

Dave
