September 4, 200421 yr comment_22464 Hi, Can anybody help. After circa 12 relatively problem free operation, my 9600 has started to play up. Initial symptom was a battery failure. I have, over the years, replaced this twice. Trouble is, having been unable to access system with my engineer access code (failed to display 'open end station'), resorted to restoring factory defaults. Now unable to get past first stage of Initial Start Up since the system persistantly displays 'Lid Tamper' afetr keying in user dafault code 1234. Also occasionally still shows 'Battery Failure' (having started the initial startup several times now.
