Hello.

Anyone know of the requirements for smoke cents system maintenance? At present I:

Check all vents operate on fire alarm signal whilst smoke vent psu is running on batteries.

Check vents open/close via manual open/close control whilst in mains fail condition.

Check psu faults are transmitted back to main fire panel.

Do smoke vent systems have to have their own s.d.'s or can they rely solely on the main fire panel?
