Guest rawlinson
I have recently moved into a new house with a Securit 700L alarm. A coule of eveings ago there was a very short power cut and the tamper alarm went off. Ever since th etamper light has been flashing, I have been unable to reset it, and the internal alarm sounds when the full alarm is set. can anyone help? Guest rawlinson
Thanks. Until I can get somone to look at the alarm would there be any problem if I turned the alarm on (aside form the internal alarm sounding - does it cut out after a certain period of time?)? Guest Peter James
Its hard to say without examining it. why would you want to if it dont work. If its a case that you want the power on but not the alarm then remove the fuse from the spur. Guest RICHL
There's no point trying to set the alarm, as it just wont set with a tamper fault.
