August 20, 200421 yr comment_21134 Several times i have had false alarms on my alarm, i have 3 magnetic door sensors wired in series on garage and shed approx 20 metres from panel. All doors are sound but i have had around 6 false alarms in the last few weeks, reset the alarm and it runs for several days with no problems. Are alarms prone to interferance and is there some suppressor, capacitor or resistor etc. Any help would be great. August 21, 200421 yr comment_21197 Considering the low cost it is probably worth changing all three anyway, as a starting point. August 23, 200421 yr comment_21476 Thanks guys, resistance was high on circuit, checked all sensors and 1 found to be faulty, replaced with new one and now circuit is dead short when closed.
