A newbie to alarm electrical... have a Professional EE but still the "led keypad" programming is somewhat of a challenge until the program lingo is understood.. agree? ;o)

My area of opportunity:

Have a DSC PC1555 with two led keypads in our home since construction... recently purchased the PC-Link unit for up/download of the DSL2002 software, drivers and service pack2... BUT not panel information including the PC1555 I do need and definitely no communication using *8 [installer code] 499 [installer code] 499 etc and unable to download the panel data presently on system... as usual the DSC Intranet is NOT available... also unable to purchse the needed software...? Any DSC alarm expertise is certainly appreciated by this ol retired Master Gunnery Sgt. Struggling to place these feet into tech shoes... but the ol sand camo boots fit much better after all these years... LOL thanks for any advice.
