July 19, 200421 yr comment_17926 Help! I have just moved into a new house which is fitted with an alarm system with a sterling 10 keypad / control panel.n As it stands, I have no information or user manual for this system and the only knowledge I have is what the previous owner showed me before he drove off in his van. He did explain about the engineer mode and took me into that, but then he was unable to come out of engineer mode, so that is how it stands at the moment. I know the code to get into engineer mode, but need to know the key sequence to get out and a user manual would be even better. I hope someone out there is kind enough to shed some light on this. July 19, 200421 yr comment_17927 Unless you know the engineer code you cant get out of engineer code, as you have to press shift 0, 0 the enter the engineer code to exit. July 19, 200421 yr comment_17931 Dale! I have the engineer code and I have just done what you suggested and it has worked, so many thanks. It would still be nice to have a user manaul of some description to let me know what I can do and how to best utilise the system for my needs. Thanks again, Nick Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/2876-sterling-10-control-panel/#findComment-17931 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 19, 200421 yr comment_17938 We can give you a user manual, but unfortunately engineer manuals are restricted to trade members. Email me at: dale@bluehall.net and I will email you back a vopy of the user manual.
