Karizma Plus System Lockout Query

Featured Replies

Hi

We came back from holiday and the alarm was going off. Later found that the fuse had turned off and so running on battery power. However we could not input our code into the keypad as I think the battery must have died. Tried to turn the fuse back on but then the alrm just went off so had to turn fuse off and diconnect battery also.

But since replacing battery, the key pad has a fault message on it and I cannot seem to enter the code (or the engineers code) to reset it...any clues

the error meesage is.... num check fault follwed by system lockout...

have tried all above steps again but it eiether justs goes off (when tripping fuse) or back to error message....??

A checksum error means the data in the NVM (Non volatile Memory) chip is corrupt and doesn't match expected values.

The panel needs defaulting and reprogramming. The engineer code may have been corrupted.

So much for "NON VOLATILE" memories

Also get the alarm connected to it's own mcb in the dis board.

thanks for all the replies...seems like a job for the engineer rather than to tackle myself...
