been asked to go look at a gardtec 370... womans kids have pressed buttons and now the thing dont work, she has user guide but have downloaded what is on manuals website... is this all i will need

Yup. The manual is very brief. Some 20+ options. It really is all you'll need. The real manual is approximately the size of 2 x A4 sheets of paper. No book or anything.

great thanks il print off the 2 page manual i downloaded and should be ok, doesnt sound like a very complicated panel... used to work on castle panels back in my intruder days plus the usual pyronix and texecom and some menvier, give me fire anyday though

With you on the call out. I used to hate it when called out at 2am, do the job get home to bed only to be called out to a job 2 mins down the road from the place u have just been. OHHHHH JOY

If the user has knackered it then try pressing the zero button a few times - it is probably just in read log mode.
