Hi,

I have just installed a 9600, configured etc.

The system seems o be ignoring entry times, or ive configured something wrong.

Group A has 3 pirs, 1 & 2 are set as normal night, pir 3 in our halway is set as entry route.

On setting the alarm, leaving the zone and ruturning a few mins later,

instead of the 30 sec delay i entered to allow deactiviation, the alarm sounds instantly.

The Instant Bells option is disabled, and Delayed entry alarm is enabled.

Sounds as though you have programmed the entry zone wrong. Check this!

Can you give me any suggestions as to how this zone should be setup?

Im not an alarm installer, and the installation manual doesnt actually say what the different options mean, so i could quite easily have missed an important one.

All the other zones work as we want them to.

The door you enter the building through shoulf be set as "final door"

If you have to pass a detector to get to the keypad then this should be programmed as "entry route"

If you have a part set, then the same principal applies.

Makes a lot more sense now

..heads off to reprogram the zone....
