I recently installed a Veritas R8+ system, with an Excel LCD keypad. After powering it up, with everything looking fine, I went through the programming menu and finally tried to set the system.

The keypad chimed, but the system will not set.

I removed the cover from the panel to check wiring and this was all fine. I then powered the panel up again, which resulted in the loss of power from the keypad.

Checked the fuses, which all seemed fine.

Any ideas? Would be grateful for any help with this.
