Omnicron 7000

Featured Replies

hello

Due to a powercut my Omnicron 7000 reset itself and now i am unable to set the entry delay. Tried using the engineer programming instructions for entry time but coming into the room it gives me no time and the alarm goes off.

If anyone has any idea please help.

Thx.

If it's reset itself then it probably lost all the programming or the programming it had in it has been corrupted, this will be obvious if the default engineering / user codes can be used.

1st thing is when was the battery last replaced, if it's more than 3-4 yrs ago it's probably needing replacing as they do start to fail to charge after this time. If you think you can do this easily then do so but remember there is mains present within the alarm panel, the battery shouldn't rattle in anyway when you gently shake it, if it does the battery is dead, maplins probably stock the battery you require just make a note of the value on it and it's shape and get one that's as close to the size and has the same Ah rating or slightly higher to replace the battery. I would check the panel as well to see if any fuses have blown.

if your not sure how to do any of this or don't think your competent enough have a look in directory we have on the site for your area, who will come out for a callout fee + parts and do all this for you.
