Hi, im new to this so excuse if imposting in the wrong section.

Ive recently bought a house fitted with a Gardtec 500 series alarm. The people we bought the house from dont know the code to deactivate it.

At present i have just removed the fuse but I want to try to use it if possible. When I put the fuse back in the alarm just goes off and I cant turn it off so end up removing the fuse again.

Please can anyone let me know if there is a default code that I can enter? I have the manual so once sorted i can reset it to a number i'll remember.

if you silenced it just by pulling the fuse there is definatly problems with your system (thats not how its designed to work). get a pro in to look and reset the codes while hes there.
