I have an error message on the keypads - OC and no AC. also no power light. this error does not appear in the only booklet i have available

we have has mains power in and 14volts across the outputs from the board.. any ideas gratefully received..

oc generally means no data getting to the keypad. However make sure the heypad is addressed as 31. To do this down power keypad and power up with the 1 & 3 keys held in together and the keypad address appears on the top LHS, if it is not addressed as 31 then type in 31 and then * to save.

Hope this helps

can't get any response from the keypads. they are dead to the touch although the error message is on screen

Have you tried wiring the keypad at the control panel just on a flying lead?

OK - looks like it was something with the battery circuit (battery is OK). linked out the circuit and re-booted on mains only and now its working. Wierd !!!!

thanks for your help

regards

eh OK.

What i mean is to rectify the "no battery" situation.

not sure what to do with it, have reconnected the battery today and the system is now working OK. not sure what happened with it, obvioulsy very limited diagnostics available.

maybe i will look to upgrade the panel..
