Need a follow up if possible

Have replaced battery and it powers up OK

Have tried to set time/date as per last reply but it beeps before I can punch in the 8 of the 08 in mmddyy (several times i tried)

Anyway set the time/date and hoped for the best

Seemed OK but lo and behold 12 hours later it beeped 3 times and the power light started flashing ??

Any ideas would be great before I lose all my hair
