hi guys just wanted to know if anyone could help, I moved into my new home recently with an Optima XM alarm.The trouble is that the previous owner didnt leave us a code for the alarm, I tried to reset the system but failed miserably. I had to cut the battery to stop the alarm, now that its rewired I need to know if there is a master reset code so I can put my own code in and have it as normal or do I need to call an engineer?

Call an engineer, it needs re-programming to reset the codes.

It would be a bit silly to have a 'master reset code' to defeat the panel!
