Dabsbhatti
Can the backup battery be 2 x 12V 7Ah connected in parallel. I think the g2-44 plastic enclosure requires a 12V 7Ah battery and the metal enclosure 12V 14Ah. So if I don't have a 14Ah but I do have 2 x 7Ah. Ok its not ideal but should do the trick shouldn't it. Also any idea why the metal enclosure requires a bigger battery? Guest anguscanplay
you sure thats not the maximum size it will take - nothing actually requires anything on its own, only to comply with regs etc if thats the case dont worry about it just fit one 7amp Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/21934-galaxy-g2-20-plastic-enslosure/#findComment-188418 Share on other sites
topalarms
G2-20 is 12ah max and 2-44 is 17ah max - 7ah is fine but consider the overall load to see if additional psus are needed.
