Hello,

I am an experienced alarm installation engineer (now retired) and am on a long holiday with my daughter in Australia at the moment.

I fitted the Gardtec 370 in her house 7 years ago and she never had a problem with it but now she has a tenant living there. The tenant is stating that the alarm (sounder) went off a few times when she was using convection heaters over the holidays and the mains were tripped. She is now insisting that we have the alarm serviced immediately or disconnected as she thinks a power cut is inevitable and she doesn't want to upset the neighbours.

I think the back up battery probably needs replacing but I don't get back to the UK until late February. Does anyone here know of a reputable engineer who is familiar with the Gardtec 370 who could take a look for us in the West Herts area.
