It is disappointing that I cannot use the all the functions in a way that is logical to me. I think I have tried every combination available but there is always a disadvantage. Sometimes I cannot disarm at the RKP!

Well I discovered why I could not disarm at times! :rolleyes: In the keypad programming I had my single RKP set to all Keypad Areas but the "Use Keypad areas" unchecked. This prevented Area B from disarming. Odd that it could be armed. Local Arm/Disarm is not set for any user.

I have given up on Quick keys and Part sets and got the functionallity I require by using Arm Suites. As Breff pointed out, one disadvantage of this is that the radio fob always sets Full Arm, even on Part Arm. Apart from the timed area I may as well have kept my old Optima.
