kuchars22
I'm a bit confused over how to wire up detectors on my 9750. I have 5 zones, two of which have two detectors in a single zone. Assuming I want to use CCL wiring. Looking at the manual and on the PCB, there are 8 CCT connections. Does each CCT represent a single detector or zone? In other words when wiring up two detectors for Zone 1, do I wire them in series for CCT1, or would each CCT connection be used for each detector, and then you logically assign zones to each CCT connection? This manual isn't clear on this subject. Also, I have a further 7 zones using the RFX expander. According to the manual, you assign zones 9 - 16 to wireless detectors. Does this mean that you cannot mix the wireless detectors with the hard-wired detectors, as they are assigned zones 1 - 8 on the control panel? Mavrick_001
Zone and cct same thing different language, 1 detector per zone then you know which detector has triggered and also for programing reasons so each detector and zone is seperate. on board zones/cct's 1-8 and then the wireless zones on top if I remember..... not done these on wireless so can't be much help there CCTV Intruder Access Control Tony Hughes, Proprietor, TRADE MEMBER Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/21553-scantronic-975051-explanation-of-cct-conections/#findComment-185570 Share on other sites

The next thing is to just program your radio zones as rquired. You may have to ensure that the expander jumpers are correct.
