Connect 2 Sirens To Intellisense Alarm

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm planning to install a new alarm system in a property I am renovating at the moment and was wondering whether it might be possible to add a second 'live' bell box on the rear of the property. The reason for considering this is becuase both the front and the rear of the property are directly accessible (normal residential road at front but old dark track runs accross back of gardens that cannot be blocked - leads to council allotments). There have been a few thefts recently :angry2: with people coming over the fence at the botom of gardens. Needless to say, I am also increasing physical perimeter security and lighting at the back too.

The system purchased contains an Intellisense Securit 800L 8 zone blank end station and remote keypad and a an Intellisense AG8 116db bellbox with strobe light and status LED.

Q1: Can I add a second AG8 unit?

Q2: Do I just connect both units (power, strobe, etc) together in parrallel?

All help gratefully received.

Many thanks, Andy
